Global Market Developments in the Last 24 Hours
In the last 24 hours, global markets were influenced by expectations for the Federal Reserve's decision and concerns over energy supply. An attack on a refinery in Saudi Arabia increased the risk of supply disruptions in the Middle East, pushing Brent crude prices up by 1.4%. This rise in energy prices has heightened inflation concerns and may encourage the Federal Reserve to maintain a tighter monetary policy. In the stock market, optimism about the artificial intelligence sector supported Asian indices, but traders refrained from taking risks ahead of the U.S. monetary policy announcement and the release of PCE inflation data. Brent crude reached $115.47, while global gold prices fell by 0.4% to $40,040. Bitcoin, with a growth of 1.68%, reclaimed the $81,000 mark, but its next direction depends on the Federal Reserve's message and changes in investor appetite. In the Iranian market, 18-karat gold increased by 0.43% to 26,297,370 tomans. The U.S. interest rate decision, PCE statistics, and developments in energy infrastructure will be the main short-term drivers of the markets.
