CZ Responds to Elon Musk's Allegations about Binance
Elon Musk has been accused of criticizing Binance for controlling about 80% of the crypto market and urging users to transfer their assets to other platforms. However, this post did not originate from Musk's account. Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of Binance, has called for an end to the spread of misinformation. Grok, an AI chatbot on X, also did not find any original post from Musk with similar content. Musk has denied this information, stating, "Yes, I have never written anything like that. This is fabricated content." Both allegations are not genuine statements from him. This information comes amid significant pressure on Binance following a multi-billion dollar security breach. Musk had previously made some comments related to the hack, but there is no evidence that he called for users to withdraw their assets from the exchange. Musk's response helps to end the controversy surrounding the fake post, while also highlighting the risks of attributing statements to celebrities without clear sources.
