BTC hash rate rebounds 21% from July low
Bitcoin's mining hash rate has rebounded 21% from its low on July 17, indicating a recovery in the market. The 14-day average hash rate had previously fallen 23% from its all-time high in October last year to February this year, marking the largest decline since China's 2021 mining ban. The current hash rate is now about 6% below its record high. Analyst Jamie Coutts noted that this recovery suggests miners are willing to invest, which enhances Bitcoin's network security, although it does not guarantee an increase in BTC prices. Historically, in six of nine similar recovery phases, BTC prices rose a year later, averaging a gain of about 66%.
